What is a Screening?
A screening at the LaunchPad is a service we offer to assist you in better understanding your child’s sensory behaviors. The screening typically lasts approximately 50-55 minutes during which our therapists will meet with you and your child and make observations while they explore and play in our clinic’s gym.
Throughout the screening, our therapist will perform various soft neurological testing in the guise of games. In the end, they will speak with you about preliminary findings. Also, you will receive an email summarizing our preliminary observations and recommendations after the screening has concluded.
Typical recommendations may include Further In-Depth Evaluation, Home Program, or Outside Referral.
